We hope your are all doing well! Our !D Cloud development team has been quite busy the last couple of months and have been working on some improvements for our !D Cloud back-end. To implement these improvements we are announcing a maintenance window for our !D Cloud back-end servers on Wednesday 27 May 2020 between 08:00 - 17:00 CEST.
What is the impact? During this maintenance window we will migrate our back-end processes which store and index article information in our system. Of course we try to limit the impact of this migration as much as possible.
During the day each customer will be migrated to the new version. During this migration there can be a delay in processing new or updated article information that is uploaded to !D Cloud. So if new article information is uploaded it is possible that this does not show directly but with a delay with a maximum of an hour. This is due to the fact that the new system needs to setup new indexes for all customers.
Since most article information upload processes run during the night we don't expect a large impact during the scheduled maintenance time frame.
All our other !D Cloud processes will work normally during this maintenance window. So for the stores this maintenance will not have any impact. They can still use the !D Cloud app normally and send and receive data to and from !D Cloud.
Once the maintenance window is finished, uploaded article information will be processed normally again and become available without any delay.
To summarize: during the maintenance window there can be a delay in processing new article information, all other processes will function normally.
